The Technical Steering Committee (TSC) is responsible for managing the technical aspects of the Dronecode organization. The TSC oversees the Working Groups (WG) and provides an interface to the Board to align Dronecode strategic and technical direction.
The TSC approves requests for new Working Groups (WG) focused on a particular area of development, process enhancement, or community engagement. Working groups report to the TSC. A WG lead is appointed based on the person most familiar with the WG proposal, and someone who will be active and engaged in the WG.
WG leads are responsible for leading the WG activities, maintaining the WG wiki page, and providing a monthly public update for the WG.
The current Working Groups are:
TSC members, WG leads, and invited presenters are able to attend the monthly TSC meetings. Issues requiring a TSC vote are restricted to TSC members.
Working Group meetings and development are managed by the individual working groups.
